What is Absolut Earth for?
It’s for your skin! It is specifically made for external use on your whole body to help moisturize, nourish, and heal your skin. A pea-sized amount should be sufficient for your lips, face, chest, and hands. If you have combination skin, use sparingly on the oilier parts, especially on your T-Zone (nose, chin, and forehead). In time, your skin will balance itself and then apply as needed. Best: after bath/shower- before bed.
What else can I use Absolut Earth for?
Reports have come back from men that have used it as an aftershave balm and face cream. Ladies have used it for their bikini line, legs and under arms. Customers have reported that it is amazing for cracked heels, minimising scars, cuticle repair, hair, minor cuts and scrapes, bruised skin, insect bites* and itchy skin, sunburn, acne* and even some forms of Eczema* (* The exact form of insect bite, Acne and Eczema is unknown, please test it first in small amount or contact a dermatologist). Use a larger amount to treat problematic areas.
How should I store it?
Always store sealed in an upright position, in a cool dry place below 25 Degrees Celsius to prevent melting or possible separation in high heat. Absolut Earth is all natural and we make every effort to maintain the integrity of the formulation, from manufacturing to delivery. If it feels coarse, use as normal, the graininess will dissolve. If separation occurs, stir well, store correctly and use as normal.
Why is there no beeswax in Absolut Earth?
Bees are an integral part of nature, and there have been a lot of questions by the vegan community, surrounding the sustainability or damage done to nature by using beeswax. Additionally, some studies have found that Bee Propolis and/or Beeswax promote hair growth (possibly in the wrong places). We prefer to stay out of the controversy and use a natural plant-based wax.
Is it safe for the whole family?
Studies have been done on all the individual ingredients and found to be safe. Caution is advised for babies younger than 3 months of age. Please keep out of reach of children. If any reaction occurs or you are uncertain, please contact your doctor.
No preservatives?
Absolut Earth is made fresh as orders arrive. Our ingredients are sterile and contain natural preservatives. The shelf life is one year (unopened) and 6-12 months once opened.
How do I find out if the ingredients in my skincare are harmful?
ECOgolik.com evaluates only ingredients and not the cosmetic product itself. Ingredient evaluations are based on 2 factors: safety for people and safety for the environment. It means that an ingredient that is known as safe for use in cosmetics can get a bad mark because it pollutes nature.
